NTIman Wrote:DJ for winning in tire class Saturday How'd you end up in "Street Tire" anyway? I thought that was for stock(ish) cars. That's awesome, you would have won SMF as well. That blue CRX should have kicked our ass with its hoosiers. :dunno:

NTIman Wrote:Also, congratulations to Peter Tyson, for taking FTP Saturday, Samuel Reiman, the 2012 G Stock champion, David Lingenfelter for taking second in points in STS (holy crap Brock had an awesome season), Adam Flint for taking SM points championship, DJ for winning in tire class Saturday, and anyone I missed. Not sure anyone could say that MM isn't the premier college motorsports club in the world.
I fixed that for you

Didn't make it to the driving part but the after party was a great time. Thanks to Rex and Jewels for hosting and an extra thanks to all the cooks. It was great to see everyone again and meet a few new folks too. T-shirts look great, thanks to Scotty and the officers for getting those done.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...

All it does is take whatever class you are in (such as SMF), and takes the PAX modifier of the class against other classes to determine how you do against others in the "Tire" class. I did it because I thought it would help us with three drivers get split up into three heats. Thought I would get crushed, since Justin's civic isnt all that well prepared for SM and SM has a huge PAX factor but got a little lucky.
Everyone did well! I learned that I REALLLYYY have gotten spoiled by ABS, Power Steering, RWD and the grip of Hoosiers. Was definitely the usual tough learning experience, but of course a huge blast. Thanks Justin!

Welcome to my world! And as many times as I have considered doing tire class, I'd get my ass kicked even worse there than in H stock since no one around here really runs R-comps, except apparently the Volvo wagon that beat me Sunday.

glad to hear. thank your officers....we didn't rush the design, but we were definitely on a constricted time frame and they busted their asses to get them done right and quickly.

Thanks Ray for the pics, so many good ones in there. Always my favorite part of BRR events - fantastic pics to remember each event by.

I know I am super late on this, but I just wanted to thank Rex and Julie for hosting the the whole group on Saturday evening. I had a great time, all of the food was amazing and I managed to survive the widowmakers. Thanks again for opening up your place to a group of misfits like us.
