Last VMP event of the season. Looks like Dave and I will be there again. Any other MM attendance?

So who has signed up for this? I know Shea and I have.
So far since entries are a lil low they are predicting 8 runs per driver. This is a fantastic opportunity to get some seat time before the off season.
If you want to come down and register at the gate, we do not turn anyone away. If you show up, you can drive.
I'm considering making the drive....not sure yet though

I'm out. I'd love to make it, but next week is already hectic enough for me without making an extra trip to Richmond Sunday. Depressing, but mid-terms, work, and training for work in Baltimore, then a weekend in VA beach followed by another mid-term is already enough on my plate.

Cody, It's a long drive, but VMP is a pretty awesome lot. Bigger and grippier than Verona. There are usually plenty of very experienced drivers willing to hop in the car with you and help you learn the course and technique too. You'd also be classed a lot better with your car.
Damn, I really want to autoX more this season.

Yea, I've definitely got the racing bug at the moment though so the drive doesn't bother me too much. I'm trying to get as many events in and improve on my driving as much as possible before the end of the season. I'd also love to be a little more competitive at this event. My brother may bring up his track cobra for it too hopefully.

If Jon Felton is there or Chris Duncan, either one is generally more than willing to instruct. I would suggest that for sure. You seemed to struggle a bit on transitions at Verona, and they could probably both help you negotiate the course a bit better. Otherwise, just drive in as many events as you can, and you'll gain on everyone else.

Another awesome event I thought. Really fast course this time, and it was awesome to get a ton of runs and ability to experiment some. I think Shea and I both learned quite a bit at this event. Heat 2 got some dry track thanks to us in heat 1 .
Congrats to Justin for grabbing 2nd place for the year in NXE! Congrats to me for showing up to enough events to get 3rd in NXC...
a few of my faster runs from the day.

Fun event for sure. Have to say this was the most challenging auto-x events I have ever experienced. The course was low grip with definitive drying lines later in the day. I realize that I have a ways to go with smooth braking transitions and picking the correct line. Big thanks to Chris Perera for learning me on some new techniques to work on. Was a definite eye-opener to see somebody work the car so precisely and maximize the speed through low grip transitions.
Joined the 180 club on several runs, never got a smooth clean run in. Realize I have a lot of driver improvements to work on for next season. Despite my terrible times I took advantage of the ability to try different lines and really test the limits of the car in poor conditions.
Videos to come of Chris P. driving the car the way it should be driven. He managed to absolutely dominate me in driving speed/skill in my own car, which was ultimately to be expected.
Congratulations to Justin for the NXE podium yesterday, was fun watching you and Chris battle for the fastest time while I was out drifting the course.
My 7th run, pretty sure it was my fast one

I was actually a little bummed it didn't rain more, I was hoping for some wet practice
Good meeting you Justin, sorry I wasn't more talky, starter is one of those gigs that requires some attention unfortunately. Is your car formerly TRAK HOR?

Yea....I bought it off Mikey.
Damn, that course looked fun as heck. I wish I had made it down. Probably would have made my Sunday a little bit more enjoyable.
Can't wait for next season. Ready to burn some more tire off my car.

Wish I had been on the forums more in the past week and realized you were going to be here. I would've introduced myself as well, especially since you were right behind me on grid.

He was co-driving so I'd assume the owner mis-classed their car (you shoulda seen the grin on his face by the end of the day from all the torques that he's not used to).
