Pro Tip: Part out the trailer hitch and wiring and don't tell anyone you towed with it. Manual states that WRX and STi have "N/A" towing capacity in the 2011 manual IIRC and it could scare away potential customers. Just a thought and good luck, sad to see a GR go.

You do have a point there, but it was kinda of a bitch to install it in the first place so I don't know if I want to take it off. Fishing bolts through holes in the frame rail is a serious PITA to start with, can't imagine what trying to get them out would be like. Maybe I'll just remove the ball and see what happens.

Either way, trying to fish the bolts backwards probably not gonna be easy.

not to thread jack but i'm going to be having some takeoffs for sale from my 06 fxt in the next week. have a curt hitch, but don't think the SG one will fit on an SH. (so basically my post is worthless to you)
