Re: 2009 WRX 5-door/Wagon 49k mi - $18.5k - NTIman - 09-05-2012 I wish I was in the market for a car, but since I am almost done paying for the Corolla, I think I'll have to stick with the nerd car for now. But damn would that look good sitting in my driveway. Re: 2009 WRX 5-door/Wagon 49k mi - $18.5k - G.Irish - 09-05-2012 Yeah I hate to see her go but I'm getting a house and I've got the Duc so I can't complain. Might pick up another scooby in the future though. Re: 2009 WRX 5-door/Wagon 49k mi - $18.5k - DierwulfBL - 09-06-2012 Pro Tip: Part out the trailer hitch and wiring and don't tell anyone you towed with it. Manual states that WRX and STi have "N/A" towing capacity in the 2011 manual IIRC and it could scare away potential customers. Just a thought and good luck, sad to see a GR go. Re: 2009 WRX 5-door/Wagon 49k mi - $18.5k - G.Irish - 09-06-2012 You do have a point there, but it was kinda of a bitch to install it in the first place so I don't know if I want to take it off. Fishing bolts through holes in the frame rail is a serious PITA to start with, can't imagine what trying to get them out would be like. Maybe I'll just remove the ball and see what happens. Re: 2009 WRX 5-door/Wagon 49k mi - $18.5k - DierwulfBL - 09-06-2012 I hear you on that, if it fits a 2010 forester I could maybe persuade you to take the bolts out with cash?

Either way, trying to fish the bolts backwards probably not gonna be easy.G.Irish Wrote:Fishing bolts through holes in the frame rail is a serious PITA to start with Re: 2009 WRX 5-door/Wagon 49k mi - $18.5k - davej - 09-06-2012 DierwulfBL Wrote:I hear you on that, if it fits a 2010 forester I could maybe persuade you to take the bolts out with cash? not to thread jack but i'm going to be having some takeoffs for sale from my 06 fxt in the next week. have a curt hitch, but don't think the SG one will fit on an SH.
