I know, we talked about it at VIR and I saw your FS thread on Bimmerforums as well as Peter Tyson's FS/Sold thread on Bimmerforums also.

Why would you want to part with yours? Idk, your car has about the same mileage as mine so maybe like $100

My assumption is for a Z3 rack or a 95 rack?

ha. Nevermind then. I would possibly put in Z3, but I am not trying to put any money into this car any further so no.

95 rack is meh.

You sure the pump is pumping? Check car-part.com, mad racks on there.

They got racks on racks on racks.

Made me lol, bonus points for getting me in a meeting with my VP. I like your style.

Seconded on the pump, you sure its the rack and not just the pump dying?

I would venture to say if its doing the same thing as your first pump, and it was working fine on my car, its most likely not the pump. (although it sounds like one).

That's exactly what I was thinking, I'm wondering if my rack isn't killing pumps although this one has only been on the car for maybe a mile. I might as well replace the rack and see if that helps.

My fluid turns a very light pink (from its normal dark red) color right away and looks like alot of air bubbles throughout even after bleeding it

Hmmm, 2 TTL (turns to lock) does sound appealing since I am already in the market. Read great things and supposedly because its continuous (equal feel throughout rotation), it feels tighter and more responsive from what I've read.

I think I figured out why my steering sucks so bad. Seems I may already have a Z3 rack in the car causing increased effort when RPM's are low. Turns to lock seem to be about right. Never actually though to pay attention hoe many it took to get to lock.

EDIT: Ignore until I further investigate this
