Torque = Displacement, for N/A.
I know this, therefore it must be a smallish v10.

My guess is that this will be an ultra limited production, and then when sales SUCK, Toyota will say,

its an F1 inspired engine.
4.0L maybe? Surely no more than 5
you have to admit, a v10 spinning at 9k would sound amazing
if by amazing you mean painful (uncorked)... yes corked it would be pretty beastly and downright scary.

Most rumors peg it at a 5L V10.
I have no doubt this car will be a performer, just that its not what I would've liked to see from Toyota and it certainly doesn't carry on the turbocharged legacy of the Supra like we would've liked. Yeah the Viper has a V10 and all but so does the Gallardo and Murcielago. Its been done and Toyota really has nothing to gain from joining the V10 club unless they plan to put one in a uber Lexus sedan or something. In that case they might as well build a V12.
500 hp is nothing to sneeze at but in the end it won't have the big power potential that a turbo 6 or 8 would have had.
I think toyota should keep their badge on the Supra, I think moving it to Lexus is st00pid.
