The market is BEGGING....
I like them. I think it would look a lot better with a new set of wheels and tail lights.

Sorry Evdawg, I haven't seen any official weights (Although 300 lbs heavier than an otter isn't calling it lightweight) , official prices, and 200hp isn't exactly lighting the frickin' world on fire.

there is a big difference between "slow and fat" and "lighting the frickin' world on fire"

maybe 2700 lb, 200hp balanced RWD coupe isnt your bag, but it sure as shit isnt anwhere close to fat or slow.

but since Im all grown up now and cant have a coupe now anyway, I really just hope they put that engine in an impreza 5 door.
that would be a fun econobox scootaround without sucking down gas like a wrx.

Bet you dollars to doughnuts that it is the slowest car in 'its class'.

Ahem, name one other RWD coupe that is under 3000 lbs that costs less than $50,000. Yeah it's heavier than a Miata, but there really isn't a whole lot that is lighter than a Miata either short of a Lotus. Are there any other RWD cars that weigh less than 2700 lbs? I can't think of any.

I can't think of any mid-engine cars that cost less than 50k. Doesn't mean anybody wanted to buy an MR-S.

The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

My mind is full of fuck.

And Rex, you're retarded... should be as fast as an E36 M3 :dunno: Really dont see it as fat or slow, hopefully its not just a niche market car and actually sells well. I'll be taking one for a test drive when they're here.

+1. And then the ND Miata, whenever that is. Rex's hatred of this car is more irrational than my hatred of Hyundai

I thought I saw a pic showing it as a 2+2 but that comparison doesn't show any room for a backseat and I can't find a pic now...2+2?

yeah, 2+2.

If you're travelling with 2 hamsters anyway.

oh, and I really like the interior (in the toyota version anyway). its sharp, sporty and slightly retro without looking cheap and nasty (ie Mustang)

Overall, stock motor and slight aero and interior upgrades and BBS wheels. Still WAY to much wheel gap! The exhaust looks good too.

keep the flares and wheel gap... take everything else off of it. that would be a sexy street car. the interior does look kinda nice.

I really like the natural surrounding shots and that deep blue "modded" one (except the wing), the lines definitely look better to me. Interior is pretty nice and not gimmicky like the awful Camaro. I think it would be a fun car but I'm definitely not the target market and would have no use for it with that small of a backseat.

I'll probably do a test drive also just to check it out
