So the car has a salvage title from a passenger side collision (passenger front door was replaced) and some dents that could probably be removed by paintless dent guys. The salvage title part needs a few more questions answered.
The car books for 8,000 stock.
Is this a potentially awesome deal as long as the frame is good and the car tracks straight and tires wear evenly?

Just looking at the mods, plus the salvage title... could be a huge headache.. is it worth it?

Valid point. I guess I'll have to go look at it. I agree that it's risky buying a modded vehicle, especially with a salvage title. I'll have to get the guys story, see if he has any paperwork, take the car on a hefty test drive. I wouldn't pay asking price, I'll have to see how much he'll come down.

Add in the "custom ram air intake" and the "I have no idea what turbo I have" and you should already be closing this window.

Modded + Auto + Salvage Title? You'd be better off enduring Kaan's Miata Hate than driving this. If you're gonna get a WRX, do it right and find three pedals, clean title, no mods.

Well after I went and looked, I passed. I offered him 3k, he turned it down. Figured for 3k , why the hell not. The car ran and drove great and straight. The dents I thought could be pulled would need more work than that. I'll keep looking. Thanks for the advice fellas.
And it being an auto definitely lived up to you guys' expectations: poopy
