hello everyone,
I was toying with the idea of building my own subraces for a 2nd gen mr2. The aftermarket selection seems very under designed. Their designs (tanabe and UR) have some supports going to a radiator support that is very thing. Does anyone on this forum have experience building them? I am just looking for tips and suggestions.
Thanks!

I probably sounds like a grouch, but....
whats the purpose of it, and could the $$ be better spent elsewhere (i.e., tires, shocks, etc) ?

I already have coilovers, strut tower bars, roll center adjusters, poly bushings, sway bars, tires, adjustable endlinks, adjust tie rodZ.
I would make my own control arms.. but that is a little above my level right now.
my friend and I are just in the mood for a project, so we are going build our own. Plus it's not going to be expensive. We already have a welder, the correct size die, a drill press, the basic metal toolz, and the metal is only like 4.12 a foot.
The after market for the mr2 in terms of underbraces is pretty shit. Tanabe makes one, but it connects two points to the radiator support brace which is super thing and maybe 11mm bolts? Carbing makes another, but its only for 93+. Ultra racing makes them... but I really don't dig their designs (again the front connects to radiator supports).

Underbraces make a difference on the track. If you're just driving around the street or even autocross, you can't really feel it. I have a Full-Race traction bar with steel caster rods and it was great for upping the caster for better feel at high speeds.
What kind of coilovers do you have for the MK2? I had to make customs more mine because most of the aftermarket units weren't all that great from what I could remember.
Two feet.
Who the fuck is this guy????
