I was reading on the Raptor forums that a lot of people were cancelling their orders and a lot of people who had the truck wished they hadn't bought it because of some drivetrain clunk that Ford can't figure out how to fix. Apparently it happens EVERY time you accelerate the car from a dead stop. That would get annoying quick...back to Corvette dreams for me!

The 2011 Hyundai Sonata. I hate that I like this car so much. We bought one the other day (basic rental car trim) and it comes with Bluetooth and Sat radio standard. The chrome on the exterior really sets off the ordinary tan color. The two tone black.tan interior is super nice LOOKING and the seats are comfortable. But I get the distinct feeling that in 4 or 5 years it will be like any other Hyundai I have ever been in....a total piece of flaming Korean shit.

2010 Cadillac DTS. Also a recent purchase for the dealership. I think its just the old man v8 in me. Its not better then the 300 as a driver's big car (I mean...neither of them are benz or 7 series but between the two, 300 is 'sportier') but the fwd v8 has plenty of power and the comfort level is fantastic. New this car starts at $41,000...with no heated seats. I guess it works for the old people, I thought it was very comfy and had a fantastic ride. 300 v6 is still a much better deal if you want new. If you are going used and want big the Devi....I mean DTS is a contender.

On a side note I wanted to mention the Chrysler 200 in this post. I think of this more as a "Car I should like but...sorta...am disappointed," Notice I don't go so far as to say "I don't like it." It is a nice car. The silence going down the road is deafening. The ride is smooth and beyond quiet. The interior is (finally) nice and well put together. The leather is soft and the cloth is even softer. Interior is boring but nice and well laid out. My problem with the 200 is that it is just not called Sebring. Don't blow smoke up my ass about it being a "all new car sharing nothing but the floor pan and the roof skin." That is bullshit. It is the Sebring being what it should have been in 2007. A nice middle of the road American mid-size that offers amenities for value. 29mpg out of a 285hp v6? Sounds good to me. 31mpg from the 2.4L 4 banger....I would like to see 35. I think it is a very good sign of improvement in quality and focus and hopefully a sign of things to come that may once again make Chrysler relevant to the average (younger) car buyer who is seeking luxury in their value. Now, I want to caution folks who actually read this. The "rental car edition" of the 200 is not the car I am talking about here. Don't say to yourself "man this is a real hunk of shit, what was that fanboi talking about" next time you rent from Enterprise. The 200 base has a different interior and different glass then even the most basic equipped car. It is basically an excuse to use up Sebring parts.

I like those to, cool "Standard" features, fridge, backup cameras, navi, etc. I want an SUV for towing, but I dig it. I wonder what this is classed as, Small/Medium SUV or "Crossover". Did this replace the Envoy/Trailblazer or did the Acadia/Traverse replace those?

I know it's not much of a performance car, but I always thought a mildly modified Crown Vic Police Interceptor would be an awesome daily...on the interstate anyway.

So much truth right there. I'd love to have a supercharged all black crown vic. If it would fit in my garage and not cause Samantha to despise me I'd totally have one.

2007 Camry Hybrid "50th Anniversary Edition"

After 1 week of ownership, I reallly like the un-car. It is designed to not offend any potential customers and get as many orange circles in consumers reports as possible. The thing is, that means it does everything well, everything you need a car that leaves a neighborhood to get on a stoplight and strip mall infested road, then on to an overcrowded highway, then into the corporate office park. And replacing the 18mpg van with this 34mpg (actual) car puts money back in our pocket.

After a few trips into NOVA and DC with it, I love it.

P71's are definitely cool. i sometimes wonder how much fun i'd have in a black one with a T-45 swap and some aftermarket heads.

While at the open house for Performance Autosport in Richmond last year, I was talking to the owner Mark about his P71. The feature he liked best about it?

If I had FUUUU money, I'd definitely try and build something like the SVT group's One Lap effort a few years ago.

Think 2003 Cobra engine, tranny, etc. in a P71, then pump it up to about 650 horsepower!

Meh, whatever. That's what I get from grabbing an image from a random website like chargerpics.com or whatever it was. I was watching Alaska State Troopers the other day and they were dealing with a high speed chase. They went over the radio and were asking for the nearest trooper with a Charger to come help them out because they needed someone to be able to pass the guy and try to slow him down. They went on to explain in a really dumbed down narrative about how the Hemi pwns newbz. Excuse me..."how it is a powerful crime fighting tool in the AST arsenal."

Contrary to what you think you will not bait me, troll. I agree with you that the eminem advertising is lame. Much like renaming the car I find it unnecessary and mostly detrimental. All I can say is go drive one sometime when you aren't riding a fixed gear bike or playing with your iphone.
