I'm sure it's not as realistic as iRacing but I really don't care. What in particular is better than Forza 3. I've heard the graphics (for the premium cars anyway) and the physics are better. Anything else?

To me at least, the physics seem a lot more realistic, the track selection is better than what I remember in Forza (maybe I didn't have everything unlocked??) I also hate the XBox control pad - I probably would have liked Forza more if I had a Playstation controller for it...
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.

Yet none of them have VIR or Summit yet....despicable....
As for the controller, im the complete opposite. Throttle and brake modulation is impossible with the playstation controller.
GT5 has shit ton better multiplayer than Forza 3 for sure.

have you used a dualshock3? the triggers have a long throw just like xbox
I got used to using the right stick for throttle and brake back in teh gt3 days, that works really well but does take some adjustment

How so? I thought GT5 didn't have matchmaking and that it doesn't have a performance equalization system like Forza.

bah, you just need to practice more. Hell, I play iRacing with gas/brake on that little stick. Yes, it's far from ideal, but it can work. I would use the analog shoulder buttons, and thought I would if for no other reason that being able to overlap brake and gas, but I find my hand gets fatigued quickly holding those triggers in part of the way rather than using those fingers to hold the controller. Then modulation goes to shit.
*cough* * cough* iRacing has Summit and VIR. Jefferson circuit, Patriot, VIR grand, North, South, whatever you want! Only Shenandoah is missing.

Does anyone with GT5 in Nova wanna host a GT5 party sometime? Or maybe bring it over for the Turducken party?

So, how about some PSN names a-la the Halo thread?
Someone in another forum I frequent uses the Motul Civic that you win by getting all golds in Amateur Clubman Cup as a spec car to run races with. Maybe we could do the same for an MM online gt5 night? Or maybe, bring you best 300hp car? Something like that?
