What does wide open throttle have to do with a leaky rear window washer.

Seriously? What the FUCK. I will never, ever, ever buy a VW, that is retarded. "Doc, every time I get up from my chair I pee myself for about 30 seconds. What's wrong with me?"

"A mechanic told me the floor heater vent sticks out a bit and can be knocked off. The fix is to put a tie wrap on it to hold it in place." - I don't want no zipties... If I knock it off, I'll get it fixed.

OK, so every time I stand up from my chair and sprint somewhere, I pee uncontrollably for 30 seconds.

Sure, the answer is "well don't run places" but where's the fun in no WOT?!

i'll admit, it's a pretty dumb error. the tsb requires it having a check valve for the nozzle installed. easy fix. better than a loose engine mount bolt or something that was needed for an older model MS3 i read about before

Which is to this day the only problem I've ever had with that car, and the dealer recalled it, didn't just put out a TSB. Let's see how many Mikey has...

i think VW just put out a TSB because it wasn't a safety issue, but yes - i admit that i'm interested in the long-term maintenance of our vw's. Mine had a TPMS monitor issue that i fixed, but everything that people are complaining about online are minor nuisances IMO....so far

But that's the thing about VW.

You'll have paradise by Check Engine Light for years. It'll run. It'll get you where you need to go. It won't kill you. But, will the windows roll down today? Will my radio controls be in English? If I unlock my car, will my windshield wipers go all exorcist on me? Will my glove box stay closed if I hit a speedbump? Will my turn signal honk my horn?

This is the life of a watercooled VW owner.

sucks. this is one of the many reasons I refuse to parallel park, anywhere at any time. Parallel spots only? I'll keep circling. Too many bad things that can happen to yo' whip.

You drive a shoebox. Adjust your mirrors and grow a pair. You could lean over and see the curb if you wanted too. :bootyshake:

I digress. I've p-parked the Suprar and Miatar - its not that I can't (if you drive a Miata and can't, forced lobotomization, stat), its just that I really prefer not to. So many ways your shit can get damaged, IMO.

The Miata has a front plate-hanger setup that will punch two holes in your bumper cover if someone backs into you in a P spot, which happens all-the-time with Miata owners. I could fab it upside down, but looks doubly goofy that way.

Eff parallel parking :dunno:

man that sucks...

i'm actually trying to find the VAGCOM coding for the reverse-gear mirror tilt (tilts the side mirrors down for parking), but i'm not sure if the US models have the capability. if i find a coding solution i'll be sure to note it when we configure your car.
