A couple Ford themed events coming up in October

October 17th - 2nd Annual Terminator Shoot-Out @ MIR in Budds Creek Maryland I know this is JMU homecoming weekend but I thought I'd throw this out there. The baddest '03-'04 Cobras from across the country will be at this race. Last year the record for the quickest Terminator quarter mile pass was set at this event. October 23rd, 24th, and 25th - Ford Fever Classic @ MIR in Budds Creek Maryland Just an awesome weekend of all-Ford racing! Saturday the 24th is the day to come out if you can only make it to one day, lots of drag racing and a huge car show to take in. IMHO, the baddest car at the race. It had a BBF along with twins in the trunk. :twisted:

Is the guy in the TT stang running a blow through setup or some sort of crazy fuel injection?

Agreed, but the hood was necessary to clear the cold side turbo piping/intake manifold. I would have rather seen a tear drop style hood on the car similar to what many Fords ran back in the day.

The owner of the car was very careful not to let anyone see under the hood. But the last time I saw the car at the track a few months ago he had a "single plane" individual runner carburetor style manifold on it that had been converted to run EFI, much like the manifold on the engine picture below.

i wish more old school cars would run TT setups, just something sick about the sound of a lumpy cam and turbo spool
