Hey Maeng, can you get as close to the timing tower as possible? We usually get that corner on the first row right next to where Pete and Packer have their trailers. I might be there a lot later than I thought as a friend I havent seen in a year is having a bbq right after work so ill be killing 2 hours there and then heading down. Might not be there till midnight, 1 AM .

the spots closest to the tower are usually the first to go and since they're setting up shop later today (Thurs), I doubt I'll be able to get one thats really close. I'll see what I can do though.

Who is planning on driving down Sunday morning?

I'm at home right now and could meet whoever is going down somewhere on 81, depends on how much of a paper i get written tomorrow to be honest. If I can get about 80% done I'll feel confortable blowing Sunday at the racetrack.

If anyone wants to come down Saturday evening and spend the night in Danville, we have hotel space. Might be easier than driving down early Sunday. I think touring laps (if you wanna drive them) will be happening around 11 or so.

No helmets are needed for touring laps. You can show up tonight and crash on some hotel floor with some MMers, or show up early sunday morning.

Touring laps are scheduled for 11:10, but be there early.

I probably won't know if I can swing it until tonight, so I'll just come down in the morning, If I come. We'll just see.

wow super fun time, i definitely had a blast.
anyone even remotely thinking about getting out should do it, flagging is a great introduction to the track and watching all the cars was way too much fun

I had a great weekend - we started things off by meeting up with Maeng at a stoplight in Lynchburg. Totally planned, of course

Weather was perfect all weekend. I had great 'teacher' corner workers both days, and we saw some action at each corner, but nothing overly serious that required emergency vehicles to be deployed.

Sunday's touring laps were great - the Miata hit 90,000 miles at 90 mph as planned :thumbup: and one of these days, I need to get a rollbar, race seat and harness, and get out for some HPDE.

As always, big thanks to the Cobettos and everyone else who made the weekend happen! Great seeing some alumni, even though we didn't see too much of each other. Summit in November?

We need to plan an awesome drinking night/vixxens *cough* I mean organize to support each other during the track weekend.

Summit is an absolute blast and real close, there will be plenty of MM people running, so im sure everyone can get a ride in something!

Me, Kaan, Sylvia, Mitchum and the Politis watched them try to load that P-car into the guy's enclosed trailer in the paddock for like 30 minutes. Now that's hellaflush.
