and shea... i see you were beat by a 2.5rs  good job tho! 11th overall. pretty sweet and I see you beat my friends white sti with the roll bar, recaro seats, and 17x9 rotas. His name was Ian.

How are those rs-3s? 11
Yea, It took me the first 2 runs to learn the course, and the next 3 to actually somewhat be able to drive the car. I did not commit to a good portion of the turns / slaloms that I know I could have gone full out through and I was having a bit too much fun hanging the tail out around the long sweepers. I was cautious on the brakes and after watching a few more guys run I could tell where I could have picked up some decent time. The car definitely had at least another second in it with no changes and I think I could have done it with an additional run or two. Brett's 2.5rs is setup well and he is a good driver... I'm pleasantly surprised that I was only .5 second behind him on street tires as technically I can run full on R-compounds and still be in the same class.

Overall for a stock powered, full weight, street tire miata with a noob driver... I think it did quite well to compete with any of those cars. Good times for sure. I'm looking forward to getting more used to driving this car as now I have a bench mark to compete against.

Thanks for all the compliments, I really love the look now... I was getting pretty bored of the car's appearance with the stockers and crappy rubber.

And on a side note, Ian's car was freaking GORGEOUS. He was running in the 2nd heat so I got to watch him tear up the course... he was having some trouble with the decreasing distance cone slalom at the end of the course. TONS of cars went off course there or at least took out a couple cones just about every run.

Just found this video if anybody is interested in the course design: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_Q3FrohF1w

Car was the loudest 350Z I've ever heard. Pretty sure the exhaust note was audible throughout the county.
