Scam?

I sent a guy an email about a lexus is300 for sale on craigslist for 4500. he sent me this email in return:

Hello,
The car (2002 Lexus IS 300) is in absolutely perfect condition, no scratches,dings, dents or other imperfections. Never accidented, Always garaged. Clear title, no leans. I will accept $4,500 if you buy it now. It has only 57078 miles, 6 cylinder 3.0L and fully loaded.

Firstly, I need to tell you that i am located in Anchorage, Alaska. I am selling the car urgently because my squadron has been sent back to Iraq and don't want it to get old in my garage. The price is low because I need to sell it before january 29th...I will take care of all transport arrangements.
Usually shipment takes maximum 3 to 5 days depending on your location and will be fully insured against damages, shipped in a crated container.....on my cost!!
I am a member of the eBay buyer protection program and using this service you will get a 5 days testing period after delivery. During that 5 days testing period I will not be getting any money.
If you agree with my above terms, I'm sure that we can close the deal as soon as possible.
I have reserved the car for you until I will have your final answer.

bahaha. i asked him to ship to nigeria and he asked why. so i told him so that he could suffer more shipping costs during his scam and he responded: Fuck you. piece of shit. and i wanted to respond, "why because i'm not going to send money to someone so that you can not send me a car?" evidently someone already found out and called the fbi on craigslist on those particular people...

I understand not having time to come check the car out; I am very flexible (I was once a gymnast) and will work with you as much as I can.
It is good to know that your shipper is going to take care of all the hard work for me. Can they provide receipt that car is in good condition?

Quick question: can you provide a different service for delivery of the money b/c unfortunately UPS does not service me anymore. The driver kept trying to have sex with my dog so I shot at him and now they won't deliver to me. I am not sure who was in the wrong in this situation; can you provide legal advice on this problem?

I also got this stupid chain of emails that went something like this (with me assuming for the first few conversations that this could maybe possibly be a real person)
