This really going to go down? "this" being America
Andy Wrote:It's not all on the Dems.

They're certainly taking all the "credit" for it. Why can't they take the blame?

By the way, spending a trillion dollars on anything but an Awesome Machine for Rex is a terrible fucking idea.

It definitely leans left. It's no where near part of the liberal machine but it kinda reminds of Jon Stewart, just without the funny.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.

Derecola, I can see and assume the reporters own personal viewpoints but I don't think they give Dems a pass or Republicans a beating. They actually seem to explain stuff pretty well. Got an example of something that you think is biased?

I didn't exactly say it was that extreme. I think they're fair, but I think the personal opinions of the people are somewhat liberal and that comes through. Saying that the stimulus, in it's current format, is a good thing is left leaning. I'd have to go back to get more examples to quote. Jon Stewart makes fun of Obama, but you can tell he's a liberal... that was kinda my point.

The only un-biased radio or TV news program is C-SPAN, 'cuz it's just congress. But I guess you could call it biased based on the politics of whoever is speaking at the moment though.

Yeah. That sounds fair. I would agree with that.

honestly, I consider Stewart and Colbert a very reliable source of news. If they were all you watched, you certianly wouldn't miss any big stories. And because their lean is so intentionally far, you can separate it from the facts. :dunno:

I don't think that's true. I think they intentionally go to extremes for comedic effect on whatever the situation calls for... and the last 8 years it was left. I think what they report on and who they make fun of fairly balanced though.

This is probably a good thing to be looking into, given the current economic situation, and all...edit: Discuss? I'm not sure that reparations need to go out to anyone, for any reason..but especially not when we're about to go a trillion more dollars in debt

Wait..that 1.75 trillion deficit is going to be cut in half though. This is a hell of a way of doing business. Spend twice as much, then cut that amount in half, and pretend like you've done an awesome thing.
