2007 Toyota Yaris HB, 5-Speed manual, ~19k miles. All maintenance records, no accidents, everything is perfect and functioning on the car except for the rock chip pictured and 1 door ding (too small to get a clear picture). Equipped with ABS (hard to find in a hatch), side airbags, CD player w/ I-Pod input, power windows, remote keyless entry and the cold weather package. Asking price is $11,500obo. for an enthusiast, yes. we know we can get something like an s2k or m3 for that price. for anyone else, that's $500 below "excellent" kbb so not too bad.

It's 200 bucks *above* dealer retail according to edmunds TMV. And Adam (or whoever) ain't a dealer.

It just struck me as "no particular deal I (if I were a prospective buyer) that I couldn't get somewhere else."

I mean, this isn't adams. So I can't say "Oh, I know the person who's maintained the car, so it's probably OK".

But whatever, it's just talk. They're neat little cars, I think they're superior to the Fit or Nissan thingie of the same class.

Price is OBO - we looked at all Yaris's for sale on Autotrader within 75 miles or so, at the time it was one of the lowest (if not the lowest) priced. Dealers in Frederick can't keep them on their lots.

This thing will sell quick because people love making rash, emotional decisions because they are spending a few hundred bucks a year more for gas. I got a shiny nickel that some yuppie will ditch their SUV for $6k and spend twice as much for this thing. Hooray thinking it through!

The whole interior of the Yaris kind of sucks;its a nice cheap reliable car though. I don't care for the over-assisted electric power steering, but other than that, I think they're pretty solid.
