Wow - "racing steering?" I must have missed that dealer checkbox.

100K, radiator needs replaced, $9,000, and it's the best deal ever? Seriously, he must be on the best crack ever.
When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.

My co-worker's silver w/ grey interior '00 323Ci, 81k miles, 2dr, loaded (sport package, harmon kardon, xenons, blah blah), 5-spd, good tires, one owner, records, well taken care of. I think he wants 12k for it, I'll add some pictures if he ever takes any. But it really is in excellent shape, he just wants it to go to a good home rather than forking it over to the dealer. He's got a 135i waiting for him, so the sooner the better! :o

*edit* it's a 323, not 325. For those who don't know, the 323 is still a 2.5. But I think it's still single VANOS. Go figure.

Every racecar ends up that way - if you get 40 cents on the dollar when you sell you've done pretty well.

$35k is a lot of money for something to do trackdays with...

No doubt. I typically see those with non-race prepped modded cars get about 25 cents on the dollar. If it was done by Callaway / Lingenfelter then you can do a little better but you lost your ass on the other end already. I see guys with 85,6,7, Vettes with 15-20K in them all the time wonder why they can't get 15K for them. It's a 5K car no matter how many times you replaced the carpet and spark plugs...

35K...I dunno, it's more than some and certainly less than others, all relative I guess.

But what if it includes a free gold chain, satin shirt and faux chest hair?

Well...if you throw in a mustache it's about the same added value as an import gets with a sideways hat, boxers that ride above the jeans, yellow stickers and 13 free piercings. Smile

Oh no... no no. Screw you, Goodspeed.

That just isn't nice.

*edit* and the owner of that thing has a serious anal retention problem... the arrows at the paint dings are really throwing me through a loop. I wonder if he stores in in a fleece lined bubble at night?
