PS. I failed because I wired my foglights on and I have a small exhaust leak which is going in to get fixed right now.

For safety inxpection you *might* get by w/o a cat, but I'm not sure.

Emissions, no way in hell. Just register the car in harrisonburg.

if you take the car to the shell near my house you'll pass the safety no problem (just leave the fog's off)

emissions....agreeing with rice boi, no way you'll pass without cats

unless someone has a connection with a dealer that would grant him a pass, but for a little extra $$$, but if i remember correctly it's all controled with a dmv software

Yup there's no way getting around emissions if you're in a county that requires it.

Jack just pull and RJ and don't bother with it, afterall the Accord's registration and inspection died in 02/04

As mentioned in my .sig, the Golf failed inspection here in Charlottesville - I took it to some little shop down the street from the office and they failed it for the front brakes, rear tires, and the serpentine and power steering belts... And then they offered to fix it all for the low price of $700... I laughed in their face.

i think emissions is only required in nova for virginia. its hard to fudge it to because the sniffer test is sent to the dmv directly i think...

there isnt any reason to not have one on a street car, and plenty of reasons to have one. Especially on a rotary.

not having cats will cause you to fail the visual, they won't even bother w/ the rollers. Do they still do the rollers in VA? In MD they just hook up ODBII cars to the computer and see if it throws codes.

In VA just NOVA and portsmouth/norfolk does emissions.

problem is, emissions or no emissions, a car w/o the cats will pass the safety inspection. That's what the guy at shenendoah auto center said today.
