ATTENTION

To any and all leaving from Harrisonburg, we will be meeting at 2:30pm in the Rockingham lot, next to the Exxon on Port Republic near campus/I-81 and caravaning down.

I know the weather forecast isn't looking great, but we will make any and all decisions AT the Rockingham lot. So again, be there, 2:30pm.

Yeah looks like its gonna rain tomorrow and be cold but be in the 50/60s on saturday. I am debating putting off putting on my race pads and tires till saturday morning...

Anyone who wants a ride tomorrow (Saturday) I'll be leaving between 8-10am(depending on when i wake up). I have room for 1 or 2 people and a Navigation so we dont get lost. I plan on leaving at the end of the day Sunday.

that was a blast, it was good to see all the alum again, and thanks to you guys for giving us some ride alongs. I know that this was my first trip to VIR and it def wont be the last.

Wow, great weekend! That was a blast, I loved every second of my first VIR experience and I will definitely be back for more. Good to see everyone again, and congrats to those individuals and the club for the NASA worker award!! Here are some of my pics of the weekend....I took a lot of great video that will be put together over spring break so watch out for that.

First, a special start...this was my favorite car of the weekend. I always liked FFR Cobras...this particular example sealed the deal and I will have one of these as a track car!

It was a great weekend. This was the best VIR February event that I can remember in a long time. From all aspects. It was beautiful, and there weren't that many administrative issues which helps a lot for us officials. It was nice to meet Taylor and Mark this weekend, and I"m glad they got a few ride alongs.

Also: I know Jeff is bring back our award. But Madison Motorsports won NASA-MA Worker of the Year for 2007. Now some of you may not care, but in past years Madison Motorsports has provided NASA with many workers of the year. You should be proud. We have a long standing relationship with NASA, and its nice to know that they respect us enough to honor us with the biggest award among Officials. Hope to see more of you all in March. And please if you are thinking about coming out to work next event get with Laura Cobetto and sign up. You won't regret it.

I'm sure someone will be along shortly with pictures of the TWO plaques that MM or it's members (I don't want to steal anyone's thunder) were awarded with for our hard work last year.
