so I started playing forza2 with a local account, then I created a Live account. Is there a way to merge the local stuff with the Live account so I dont have to start over?

You have to sign up for whatever your local name is for XBL for your saved stuff to carry over. I know what you mean, all of my XBOX achievements are on WRXtranceformed who doesn't have an active gold membership and I play online games with Tiesto1.

edit: I changed my local account name to be the same as my Live gamertag. But it looks like if I Migrate the Live account to it, it will overwrite the progress of the local account?

Ha ha, talk it up n00ber! You're right, if it's during the day it's not me playing, but that's why my stats aren't where they'd be if it was just me. I've been averaging about 3-4+ k/d whenever it's ME playing unless I'm sniping to unlock challenges~ :wink:

You might want to call xbox live support and see if they can move it over to your other gamertag. Otherwise, can't you gift cars to other gamertags in Forza2?

Nothing makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside like a headshot with the .50 cal. I used to think sniping was not a viable option in this one, but I'm starting to change my mind. I use it quite a bit, since I have the perk to carry two primary weapons. M16 + .50 = pwn

Really? I've been having problems with the .50cal lately, I think it's partially bugged. I heard that they did a patch to try to fix it but I don't think it completely worked. I've counted about 7-8 headshots and 3 or 4 middle chest bodyshots I've had that don't even register the "X" as having hit and hurt them. I've then watched killcams of other people who have sniped me where their crosshairs are literally 1/4" inch diagonally off of my head or body and it gives them a kill.

I haven't had that problem with the M2014A or whatever it's called... the first rifle you get. I've killed people with toe-shots with that gun...

I haven't had too much problem with hitboxes..or maybe I have. I just assumed it was lag or something. I can't hit a damn thing with any of the semi-auto sniper rifles. I also use deep impact, by the way. The M16 i have the rifle grenade, which is awesome to use, and it's burst fire will generally take someone down in one or two bursts pretty reliably.

Argh you use the n00b t00b?? Ha ha, I hate using that thing, it's so cheap. I prefer to use RPGs if I'm going with propelled explosives :twisted:

I definitely use deep impact with snipers too because you're usually only going to get one shot to kill. M16A is by far the best gun, I completely agree...I have a custom slot saved with an M16 profile in case our team is losing and I need to rack up some quick kills, and I only use the M16 for Search and Destroy. The G3 is my second favorite gun, with the P90 a close third for close-quarters maps.

lol, what's cheap? you only get two grenades per life with it - and the long range shots definately take skill. Nothing like raining grenade death down on a sniper who doesn't even know you're shooting at him! I've even gotten to the point where I can pop helicopters with it - usualyl it does enough to make them leave, haha. I like the G3 as well, and the MP5 of course. My buddy uses the shotgun on close quarters maps as well..hilarious

Derecola I added you as a friend on WRXtranceformed, not sure if you're added to Tiesto1 which is the account we use on Live. If you see WRX on that's 100% of the time me... if you see Tiesto1 on, that's probably 2% of the time me now that my friend plays CoD4 all day long while I'm at work ha ha

I finally got around to getting on Live last night and it was a straight up blast! I played a bit of Forza 2 and Halo 3. I honestly was about to sell Halo 3 after completing the single player campaign but I think maybe I'll keep it for a little while, at least until race season starts up again.

I started designing livery in Forza 2 but its a bit frustrating with the somewhat primitive editing tools. But I think I can at least make a decent MM livery with some practice. I think I'll try a couple of retro F1 schemes too (John Player's and Williams Honda for instance).

So much for me not spending too much time on this stuff...
