sorry but they go for $180-200 new on ebay, looking to get around $100 for the screen, half the price of a new one i think is a fair discount for something that was only used for about 3 months. But negotiable.

I have the stuff here, but I will not be buying it. I figured I would post up the part number at least and comment on the setup. There isn't really a part number. is is "Super" brand. 7in VGA/touchscreen monitor. I think it would be a decent setup for something looking to do an entry level carputer. I have looked into it, but its not something I personally need to be spending my money on. Justin and I both are willing to help anyone with development or install of this setup.

PS- if you want a cheap screen I'll sell you the 5.5in widescreen headrest monitor I have for $50. Its just not touchscreen. I spent far to much money on it ($200ish) when I was in highschool. Its decent and comes with the box, remote, and all. LMK.

thanks jeff, sorry i havent had access to a computer to answer the questions, but jeff just about covered it. There are no serial numbers on the screen to look up. But with some research before i purchased it, it is supposedly the same type of 7in screen that either pioneer or panasonic(cant remeber which one, started with a P) use in their 7in radios and such. sorry to hear you cant purchase it Jeff, although i think the Van needs it to keep track of your candy sales.
no candy is "sold" here sir...though you could say it is bartered for services.

screen hooks up to computer via usb?
what kind of video inputs?
is there an API or at least drivers for the touchscreen?
Hooks up monitor via VGA, touchscreen via USB, there is also an s-video and component input. Software is touch driver that can be had if googled on the interweb, used for calibration purposes. OTherwise XP just pics it up as another mouse.
