I think I'm going to be able to run the 360 and DTV HDMI but run Component for the DVD and Wii. My DVD players only supports Component and I don't even think the Wii supports HDMI so I guess that's not really a problem.
Another question... since I'm somewhat of a 360 n00b. Are you guys running the rechargeable pack in the controllers or just replacing batteries?
Also, what games should be on my short list? H3, GoW and ....?

it's by far the best madden game on 360. 07 was awful, 06 was ok, but who wants to to play with 06 rosters? i have 08 and i recommend it.

My Samsung has been problem free since I've owned it, I would definitely purchase one again. The only reason I got this particular TV is that it was such an insane deal. I spoke with Best Buy today and it's covered under 3 policies right now, the 30day return policy, the 1 year manufacturers warranty, and now the performance plan. If it turns out to be a lemon, I'll return it, but it should be well taken care of for the next 4 years =)
Also running the rechargeable packs. Ftw.
I agree with Derek, it depends on what kind of games you're into though. Here's what I think are good, you can argue with me if you want:
CoD4 is extremely impressive, definitely one of the first games I would purchase
GoW, for both single player and multiplayer
Halo 3
Guitar Hero III
Forza 2
Any of the Tiger Woods games if you like golf
Any of the FIFA games if you like soccer
Fight Night Round 3 for drunken shit-talking with your friends
Bioshockkkkkkkkkk <<-------
There are a bunch of other great games, but those are good ones to start out on =)

i don't think any game is worth playing over and over. the single player is very enjoyable, though... why don't you have live? it makes the system like 5x better.

Halo 3 I could play over and over again on Live. My little brother was still playing Halo 2 online religiously until H3 came out. Gears of War came a close second, mostly because me and a bunch of coworkers played together on a team. I've never had much taste for the CoD / R6 style games in multiplayer, but maybe this one will be different.

CoD is far more fun that R6 too. You don't have to wade through mobs of menus in CoD. It's a lot faster paced.

To be honest, I don't think I really play enough to benefit from getting Live. I hate paying for a monthly service that I don't really use.
