Great times guys, that was a blast. Huge MM showing, we rocked SM...8 MM'ers and associated friends made it out. It was a challenging high speed course for sure. Justin and I will upload our pics soon, in the meantime check out this BRR-SCCA thread for great pics:

As for myself...well, it was a cone slaughterfest with plenty of powerslides and almost a complete donut thrown in :lol:
Byah!

you should have seen it two weeks ago with the 20's on it running.....
How they let the truck in and not the turbo van is stupid.
I was alittle nervous at first with this course but I did fairly well picking up 1st in Novice 56.961
I really like how my times turned out no cones in any of them.
Run1 = 60.238
Run2 = 58.939
Run3 = 57.637
Run4 = 56.961 Pax = 45.740
I'd say the only thing I did different this time was more Tire Pressure and brake later but harder. The car was getting loose in the rear toward the end past the chicago box coming out the exit.

The truck has a lower CG so it is less of a roll over risk. Rules is rules.

If you don't hit one every now and then it just means you're not getting close enough. :lol: Seriously, nice job. Those little orange guys were jumping out in front of everybody today. Congrats on the Novice win. Now you can't run as a Novice anymore.
Also, thanks MM for your strong support of the event.

Did alright, not use to the street tires now so I was a little sloppy expecting the tires/rear end to be a lot different, looks like I was the fastest on street tires? maybe?, but I should have been pushing it more I didnt hit a single cone on any of my runs. I didnt even decide to do the autox till that morning so I ended up not bringing the hoosiers. Ended it with a best time of 53.311, I may end up doing some autox next season with the hoosiers and try to compete for ftd. Ftd today was 50.9
Heres one vid I got, definitely strongest showing of MM in history as far as ive been. Oh and ignore the launch I didnt have my laptop with my so I could adjust my anti-lag, and so I didnt have the right launch rpm. as you can see....

HI-larious
Two feet.
Just watched the video - looks like you need to shuffle steer more, and you're getting 'behind' on the cones on course - work on those next time out. Looking ahead further will help a bunch. The car's also bottoming out big time up front, and understeering can you raise the front end at all and/or stiffen up the rear? Left foot braking will help keep the b00st up but its tough to do well - start practicing on the street and after a few weeks it will get a lot easier.
