fwiw I think Adam is right, small ones dont bother me much, and so far the fact that it is frowned upon rather than explicitly (and technically) banned is effective enough. If that wasnt the case I have no doubt that we would have big annoying supra signatures with dropshadowed script fonts and gradient fades
