Heard anything good about Ventus HRII H405?

I need new tires for the Benz and the Kuhmhoes only lasted 12,000 miles.

They are round, black and hold air, that's about all you need for the 'benz.

that was helpful.....

On the few things i googled it stacks up to be a descent tire. One site scored it a 4 out of 5, with 4.1 traction. Has good treadwear rating with 340. Depends on what your looking for, an OEM replacement or something a lil sticker than what you have now. Im assuming just an OEM replacement, then those should be find depending on the price, you may be able to find something cheaper with equal qualities.

Falken Ziex Ze 912
Fuzion ZRi

Maybe some other tires to look into depending on your price range.

Theres like a bozillion different 'street' tires out there, they will ALL perform different on different cars which is why I find the TireRack reviews hilarious. Just get the cheapest thing you think will last the longest given the type of driving you do (summer/winter/snow/etc). The biggest issue with tire wear is an alignment. If street tires are wearing out in 12k miles its most likely an alignment issue, not rotating issue or street stunting (bunouts, donuts, etc).

Aaron, is there any particular reason that your street tires are running out in 12k miles? That seems EXTREMELY short lived for a basic street tire. What do you need to use these tires for that you plan on purchasing? Basic DD duties I'd agree with Chad and get something cheap in the same size as OEM. The tires Justin mentioned I've heard of and I believe quite a few members have run them and made reviews somewhere on this forum. Check tirerack or edgeracing for whatever best fits your budget.

The are staggered, so I can't rotate them.

ESP won't let me do burnouts.

The car was aligned when the last set went on.

Kuhnnnnhoe sucks.

yeah a mustang is lightweight.......to an abrahms tank....

lol just messing with ya Chad. I would actually suggest what im runnning.....The NEXEN N3000s....Ebay tire, their grip isnt horrendous but they seem to be able to handle all the chunking, heat, an general abuse of track days and daily driving, I put 2 track weekends on them before I used the hoosiers and they have held up fine along with daily driving, possibly my longest lasting tire so far.....im at 9 months.

Just get some cheap all seasons - summer only tires are a waste of money IMO.

All Seasons + Slicks > Summer Tires + Winter Tires
Why do people just post what they are thinking? Without thinking.
