I have a special guest lined up to give us insight to track driving. Greg Shaffer, Grand Am cup driver and Summit Point instructor will be at our March 28th meeting.

Not sure it applies to Greg, but most of the guys in Grand Am got their by making lots of $ somewhere else.

Ill be there probably too late to talk to Greg, but ill be there. I have a test at 6:30 i n a 3 hour class so I dont think itll be a short enough test. We will see, imma going to try making it out.

Greg did an absolutely amazing question/answer session. Goodspeed got the majority of it on tape but the batteries must have died before it was over because we kept him going for a good hour and a half. I learned an incredible amount about the inner workings of a race team and how it all comes together for a big race.

We made sure to get your question in first Chad, just to make sure his answer would be on film. Amazingly his start wasn't all that much different than some of yours.

Excellent presentation, really nice guy and it was definitely a valuable and informative meeting. I got about 40 mins. worth before the battery died but I'll be sure to make a vid of it and get it posted, might have to make a 3 part series or something but in the next couple of days I'll get it posted up.
