Update!
I moved the bike over to the new place last night - under its own power Rides quite nice! Started up on the first *kick* and I tore out of my neighborhood, throttle pinned open, shifting at 10,000 rpm and as I click through 3rd gear I'm thinking "this thing is screamin! yeah!" and then I looked at the speedo... 55mph. Dammit ![]() Has a few issues that I need to sort out. Has a very high idle, I suspect a air leak in the carb boots and one of the float valves is still leaking - it wil drip fuel out as I'm riding it. I'm going to replace the floats and valves with OEM honda parts. Other than that... runs great! Should be ready for weekend rides by the time the weather warms up.

Nice, glad to see it runs.

OEM Honda float sets and larger main jets ordered and shipped..... way too much $$ but I wont have any more issues
Hoping for a real ride on it next weekend - to Apoc's house so I can do a burnout on his lawn

That bike doesn't have enough power for burnouts... and if you manage one you'll just bin it.

The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

Why do you think I'm doing the burnout on your lawn?

When it comes to Ryan Jenkins, the story ends with me putting him in the wall.

I'll be lucky if I have more than 45 so I'll definitely ride like I have less than that.

After a few rounds of fixing one problem, creating 2 more and basically letting murphy make me his bitch for a few nights, she's road worthy
Just took her for a ~10 mile ride around falls church - its awesome. I need to do some plug readings to see how the fueling is working but on the short ride it felt great - small hesitation when rolling on the throttle, but thats about it - pulled strong all the way to 10k, no flat spots or sputtering. Rides nice, looks good, I'm happy - I think the "project" part of the bike is done and now I get to enjoy it - I'm doing a vintage/cafe bike ride with some local guys next month, that will be alot of fun.I got tags today as well, antique of course ![]()

No accelerator pumps

Further progress..... sync'ed the carbs and set the timing today. Wow, what a difference, the bike runs so much smoother than before! Plugs look a nice light tan color, I think its as good as its really going to get - oh and it sounds pretty mean too
![]() It runs vary nice!

Awesome, good to hear its up and running. One question though, what happens if someone wants to take a bike out thats blocked by all the others? That must make for some fun times at your place
