DJ, my other suggestion is COD Worl at War, it has similarities to Modern Warefare but it has many differences as well. My other suggestion is GET ON XBOX LIVE ASAP!!!

before you crack into Modern Warfare, consider that Modern Warfare 2 is coming out soonish?

Yeah you definitely want the hard drive. Modern Warfare is still one of the best games out there. I know you don't really play games that aren't multiplayer, but do yourself a favor and pick up BioShock and BioShock 2 when it comes out later this year.

I would also strongly recommend renting games before you buy them. That's SOP for me now with as critical as I am of video games.

Im not much into FPS (especially with a controller) and I dont see much interesting on xbox other than the Forza series.

Wow, consoles have gotten advanced. XBOX live is a very awesome way too play multiplayer. Setup was easy and communication over microphone is 100% along with setting up games and parties. Played a little Forza 2 with Justin last night. If your up for playing with a newb on some games, let me know.

The Fable series is pretty fun, and Fallout 3 was amazing. I was addicted to that game for months, just running around looking for all of the special armors / weapons / quests. The Gears of War games are pretty awesome too, for your intents and purposes they aren't FPS haha ; )

Edit: Resident Evil 5 just came out on 360 and it is amazing. I rented it for a week and got hooked.

Alot of the "story driven action games" have moved to first person, simply because first person is easier. It's the same engines as third person, only without having to program a camera to not suck.

But to answer your question, yes.

Same here, I think I got to all the enduro races and kinda lost interest. 5 billion laps + ADD doesn't really work to well.

i suck at the big block and muscle cars.... but i hear there is a website that you can enter the weight and stuff and they will get you a good baseline to set up the car with... i've been goofing off with the Need for Speed crap lately

I used to set the difficulty on very easy and then hire one of the worst drivers in the Hire Driver option. Then I would leave my XBOX running during enduro races while I was doing other stuff just so I could beat them. Even the lower end drivers got first for the most part if you had your car set up right.

Yeah DMC4 is definitely not a very dimensional game, but if you're in the mood for ultra combos and general destruction it's amusing for a while
