My biggest concern is, I've heard more than one medical professional that we hang out with say that Biden seems to be showing signs of dementia.
lol, sweet. America 2020 - which candidate is less obviously suffering from dementia?

And then there were three.
Boy that was a ride, huh?
The only ones left standing are Biden, Bernie, and Momma Tulsi who is let's be real, just trying to soapbox about war and stuff. (Which isnt a bad thing if you ask me)
It's gonna be Biden for sure, and I'd love to speculate who his running mate will be.
Thoughts?

^ that or Gabbard
I think Warren is the best pick and her signing on is a good way to push her agenda. If not now, down the line when she runs as an ex-VP.

Warren will ride shotty...that's the pragmatic choice bc of her experience level and gives them a ticket for women voters to be excited about. i'd like to think Yang might get some kind of council position. i wouldn't be surprised if we see mayor PeteyB in a presidential race again someday.

I think any of these Democratic candidates and Trump wins again. So.... who... cares?
I doubt Biden will pull enough Democratic voters out to vote for him and basically that just means Trump wins. Bernie at least seemed like he'd get people riled up enough to vote (still may not be enough). Most moderates and even radical Democrats will just look at Biden and be like who cares
Disagree. I know A LOT of Dems who really, really didn't want to vote for Bernie and are glad the party is turning back towards the center. I'm guessing it's generational.

Conversely, I wouldn't vote for Sanders; but will vote for a Biden/Warren combo. Not that my group seems to pull good voting numbers (middle age upper middle income). Wish Warren got more attention as I view her as an educated/intelligent/realistic Sanders with actual data and experience.

This. Warren was my first choice. Shame she didn't get more traction because she is smart, actually groks policy details, and got the CFPB going. Bernie and Bloomberg were my last choices.
Biden will probably win the nomination and will do fine with moderates and independents, assuming he doesn't torpedo his campaign with his mouth.

Also on the Warren boat. With how much she tore up the other candidates i think her as the VP would be a stretch, but her lack of an endorsement was no surprise. I still feel like Biden is a poor choice, but throwing my hands up now.
I think the thing that you all seem to like about Warren was her undoing. Yes she is a policy wonk, and probably knows her shit. So then people forced her to articulate on those plans and how much they might cost. That's about the time her campaign started to fail.. She may have answers nobody wanted to hear.

I liked Warren but I have 0 hope there is any mass appeal to any of the candidates left. Biden seems the most logical choice but I hate it because he's boring and very establishment. Bernie is the opposite but he's way too extreme and going to the polls as a moderate with two opponents that are both extreme is the worst option. I see it more as voting for a moderate v voting for an extremist. Moderates rallied around Biden in part because he's a known entity. If anyone would win out of the crappy field the Dems propped up, it's probably him.

I don't disagree but I don't want to delve too much to nihilism when we still have a whole lot of time before November. Floating the "who cares?" ideology seems like self-fulfilling prophecy.

I'm still going to get out and vote, but I'm saying who cares to the fact of our candidate choice is shit no matter on each side. Basically my complaint is the overall known issue of our current shit political system keeps producing shit so who even cares
We are literally living the South Park episode of having to have either a giant douche elected or turd sandwhich elected. And who wins in that episode?...

I don't think that's it. Bernie has 5 trillion dollar plus programs in his platform and he never finished behind Warren in a primary or caucus. I think she ended up out in no-man's land where she was too far left for moderates but Bernie had already sucked up all of the oxygen at the far left. She's not a radical like Bernie and has actually accomplished things, but Bernie had a built in advantage from 2016.
It may also come down to her decision to turn away big donors. The moderates didn't do that, and she couldn't match Bernie's war chest.

Nobody has mentioned that Warren's personality is extremely unlikeable. Maybe it's just my impression. I can't stand to hear her talk especially during the debates. She always seems to yell and condescend. I think that turned a lot of people off.
