I'm very serious in saying slightly larger wheels (if needed) and some good tires are all you need for a while. I still have a blast at every event with my stock everything, except tires and pads.

Eh you can roll while still making payments on it, I'd just recommend more autocrosses first so you learn the car control skills. If you're learning car control on track your chances of a crash are much higher IMO.

Just my humble opinion. I drove a few 92-95 civics last year and just thought they were all crap. The seats sucked, hey werent any fun to drive, the shifter sucked.
If you're looking for an integra just make sure its been well taken care of and the maintenance is all up to date - tune ups, timing belt, clutch (although it should go 130-150k on the factory one), etc. Great motors, lots of storage space, fun to drive.

I would go for a 94+ (DC2). As RJ said, the Integra is a much better car than the Civic. Civics have potential but I don't really see the point in buying one if you can have an Integra for similar money.

Go with RWD, Froede. Get one unmodded so you can learn the mechanics of em. Low power preferably as well.

I'm really dissapointed in the build quality of the car... interior falling apart, all the suspension bushings toast at 100k miles, paint chipping, electronic gremlins. Its a shame the rest of the car doenst hold up as the drivetrain, which is fantastic. The 95 integra and the 93 accord I had were in much better shape with similar mileage on them - much better fit and finish/build quality. I'd buy another 94-95 integra to daily drive before I bought a E36 325 - the 328's and M3's had much nicer interiors, but they have the same problems with the suspension and cooling system.

There is a Integra setting in Woodstock for sale. It is the model before the one RJ has. Is that a 1st gen? Well, anyways, its outside a house I know is owned by old people and it looks really nice. I can get more info if you want.

I don't think so, its white and has a wing. Looks like some wheels too (oem). I'll check on the way home here in about 20mins. I'll hit the thread back when I get home (lol, its like a really slow IM).
