fyi, deposit build up in the system usually kills that sensor. if you pull it and its groady get a good coolant flush... a legit one... and clean out that system.

after the winter, plan on doing a coolant flush/cleaner and going water/water-wetter from then on.

Yes, but I figured ive got time, and it comes off easily. Winter plans = hook up trickle charger.

I've always had a soft spot for these cars. Obviously I am not a Honda guy but I have worked on plenty for friends over the years (including the one SOHC we dropped a huge turbo on) Probably has more to do with my love of hatchbacks in general but I think they look great in white. Ever though about flat blacking the hood (or at least the logo)?

I just always liked the look of a flat black hood on a white car. The black wheels and the lip would really bring it together. Just my taste. (and we know how questionable that is)
