Anyone into slow strategy games?

so how many do you send? Should 2 be able to accomplish anything on a tiny undefended town?

Just for anyone who cares: Always attack romans at low level, they are most likely to be defenseless because their units are so expensive. For Teutons, you can raid a 60 pop town with 2 units, 6 for Romans, and 13 for Gauls and generally be ok.

...i'm talking about the first low level units you can make iny our barracks.

I dont know..it def. picks up. I was up way late last night playing, and so was a friend of mine. Troop movements takes up quite a bit of time ;\

It takes 24 hours to get to Mike.... Mike, how many guys do I need to send to kill all your women and children?

IP logging, account monitoring. People try it, and get banned on a pretty regular basis I think.

so i'm having trouble raiding. i have two dudes, i click a city i want to raid, hit the send button... and nothing happens. a timer starts, but it's freaking counting up!

am i missing something? is the game broken?

Ive been attacked 9 times in less than 24 hours, mostly by people in the MC alliance. Those bastards are going to get it once I get a barracks up. All i need is like 30 more iron, hopefully I wont be raided in the meantime.

Well I guess I'm going to hold off raids until I've got a couple groups of 6 because I'm playing as the Romans. Looks like I won't be raiding until later in the week.

you have to hit "OK" or whaever on the next screen that comes up...you know it's underway when you're looking at your vilalge view and it says "attack in: 22:00" or whatever

haha..yeah, I agree. I've pretty much been raiding non-stop since this morning. Embassy is being leveled as we speak, so I can start forming that luckily. I have 10 troops, gonna try to get 5 more before the end of the day.

I'm being raided in half an hour. I only have a few troops so I built a cranny and upgraded everything I could so there wouldn't be as many resources sitting around. All I know is that if I don't get hit again by tomorrow I should have a worthwhile force.

defenders are always the losers, by the way, it's like the opposite of real life.

best bet, is if you have some troops, look at their speed, and try to time it so you can get them to leave and come back after the attack is over.

And at night, send them to raid a village 4 hours away, so that they'll get back in the morning for you. If you let them stay in village overnight, and you get attacked, you'll likely get wiped, unless you have a lot of troops..that's what happened to me this morning
