Bo swares he catches air under the bridge IF he stays to one side or the other... and then swares he is all four up when he enters the bowl.

3 or 4 in the air going into the bowl is pretty typical if you really dump it in there. I know Im 3 or 4 up when Im movin, and I see the same when Im following someone fast

i saw the euroimage pic of my car cresting that hill. my stock miata's suspension was at full extension. i imagine any race prepped car carrying a decent amount speed will get some air there. there's a video floating around nasioc of an STi getting too much air there and not being lined up for the braking zone. needless to say, he gets more air launching up the karussel than i did at road atlanta with much more damage

My front wheels are off the ground over that hump, and i'm at the top of 4th gear - it slams into the rev limiter - but with Andrew behind me, I sure wasnt going to lift
![]() Kevin Helms (silver/white H1 car) blew up his engine there, over-rev and a conrod failed.

yeah, i think everyone has a little air there... i just ease off the throttle until it lands. no need to risk blowing shit up just to win hpde3 even more than i already do.

The first time I have ever had 4 wheels in the air was a funny story. I was driving a van for the Garage to test and see if a problem would return. They often make this my job over the summer. I was in a 1500 Dodge Cargo van choc-full-o' computer parts. I set out to an area near Woodstock call Saumsville. There is a road back there called "the bumps" and I had never been on it...I was setting out to find it. I was going about 55-60 down a normal country road when all of a sudden... the ground just dropped out from under me. This huge van was 4-wheels in the air going 50Mph!!! I know that is slow...but it made the whole 4 seconds of airtime much more dramatic. When I hit the ground it hit all 4 bumb stops and I almost peed my pants. Then I crested another hill and OH SHIT... happened again. I got slowed down enough by the third one that I just got the sensation of cresting a hill on a rollercoaster. Now that was some skydiving. A friend of mine totaled his 71 Mustang out there back in the day.
