I tried getting a dyno for the car show. It costs about 1000 to get a dyno for the day and we could have to charge something like 50 a run and have 20 people go to make a profit. Not to mention the school shitting a brick about it.

eh, a little advertising and we'd have no problem...dyno's around here are few and far between...i live in roanoke,a nd the closest ones were in richmond and NC

If it wasnt the same day as the as the ccvt show, you could probably get some of them to come up.

CCVT had a dyno come last year. It was a portable dyno where they put the ass of the car on jackstands, take off the tires, and bolt the dyno brakes to the hubs. It took forever for each car and was kinda stupid.
Portable roller is the onlly way to go....but I honestly think there are better attractions to have. (however, I'm sure u could make some money by getting lots of ricers to pay to dyno their turds)
I feel more like i do now than I did before.

I doubt many people would come to a dyno at our show since I'm sure they'll have one at NOPI.

The dyno is a tuning tool - the peak numbers are pretty useless except if you want to boast about how big your dick is.

As much as it turns me on to hear a 1000+hp supra, I hate dyno queen supra's. I would much rather have 500-600usable horsepower than 1000+ unusable horsepower.
