You guys. If I'm reading this correctly, I think you're talking about different cars? Anyway I wanna get the M3 out to the autox, as I'm not particularly tempted to do it in the M5...although I guess there's no good reason not to (aside from not really having driven it in anger yet, and the least sporty brake pads ever) if I can't find time to get to the M3.

Bring the M5 up if you don't have time to do the work to the M3!

You can co-drive my POS Miata if no one else offers up. No promises that it will be running very efficiently by the end of the day.

Awesome stuff! What a great weekend. Super cool hanging out with everyone.

I loved every second of auto crossing and I can't wait to do more. Thanks to Brad for riding along and giving me some pointers!

So this was a super fun weekend... even though I autocross approximately twice a year and am generally average at it, the BRR events are some of my favorite.

The cruise yesterday was perfect - well-behaved driving even though we had a pretty big group of cars. This is the time of year to be driving on back-country roads in a convertible as the leaves are all changing. Too perfect. Alex and I swapped cars for the drive down from Reddish Knob, and his C4 was neat to drive (because V8) minus the part where it lost all brake pressure for a few pedal pumps. And then half of 33 West followed by beer and food at Pale Fire... mmm.

The 328iC was a generally terrible autocross car, and I'll write more about that in its own thread, but I still had a good time taking people for rides and allegedly impressing people with my chosen driving line as I flailed around the course.

Was really impressed by all the turnout from new MMers! The cruise had a good number of folks yesterday even though a few others were also at a drift event (!) and we had a very strong showing of students today at autocross (alumni, where were you?).

Big thanks to the officers for helping coordinate the weekend, and to Ray & co for putting on a great event today!

It is a shame you couldnt get more alumni out. I counted myself out, hoping I could jump back in if I got some stuff done. Then my hot water heater exploded in our basement Saturday night. f^$^ owning a home

Ouch. You definitely would have been the fastest out there with the vette.

Hopefully we get better turn out from alumni for events besides track weekends. Our student presence is the highest this year of all 4 years I've been in the club at least so far. Hopefully we can keep the presence in the spring because that's when it usually dies out.

Yes good catching up with you guys. My eyes and face are telling me riding home with the top down was a questionable decision.

Love this monstrosity:

Kind of odd that was the only "E30" there.

Miata did great though! As much fun as expected.
