March Madness @VIR - March 22-24

Definitely crazy weather. Saturday was absolutely beautiful, if a little windy. I took the ST out in HPDE 2 for a few laps, in between collecting people from tire walls with JJ and Aaron. Good times.

Yesterday suuuucked. Weather kept fluctuating between rain, sleet, snow and little teeny bits of hail. And it was stupid cold. Aaron was having trouble maintaining 85 on the back straight at one point. I touched 100 as I ran away from one TT group, and it was scary.

At least DJ and I caravan'd home, and skipped the worst of the weather by avoiding 360.

It was really great to see a few students out this weekend! Everyone seemed to have a good time despite the weather. Let's have an even bigger turnout for April! (Yes, students, I know it's the weekend before finals, but you can study on days that are not the weekend... Wink

)

And its only an hour away from JMU. Really great for a day trip.

Another one in just a month. Jon, have you been to a hyperfest yet? If you haven't, I imagine it will blow your mind. MM MUST make this a huge priority to go to. (and one you should camp at). We always camp! Floor space is plentiful in my trailer for those that don't want to be in a tent.

All the fun of a regular NASA weekend + stance crowd + drifters + Lemons Racing + live band + contests + hyperfest girls.

Yeah went to Hyperfest last year and already have it blocked off on my schedule. I'll be there Friday to Sunday and am interested in camping if other people are.

Thats a result of me screaming "GAS! GAS! GAS!" as soon as we turned in. A little bit might have to do with "BRAKE! BRAKE! BRAKE! BRAAAAAKE!" before turn in.

Finishline Productions photos are not up yet, but OG Racing caught some of the races (if you dont care about my race car press the back button now). Great weekend! I have now won 4 out of the 4 for 1st place regional championship in gts2 right now. Hope to keep the winning streak going. :thumbup:
