So I called around to a few powdercoating places, only one responded. This place was supposed to have reasonable prices.. they quoted me $125 per wheel! And they can't do the center caps ... I might take it up the street to a friend of mine's body shop and have them paint them for cheaper. It wouldn't be powder coating, but would it be legit if I had them spray like 2 or 3 layers of clear coat on?

Noice! I wish I was good at photochopping... I'm actually really curious now how those particular wheels would look in gold on my car. I had my heart set on the "white on black" theme, especially with the tails tinted out... but gold might be money....

plus lee the thing with paint is..if you dont like it, paint em a different color. that Duplicolor wheel paint is some durable shit.

EDIT: Justin and I are trying to figure out how it would look also since my headlights will be tinted slightly bluish and the tails are currently blacked out. Blue + white + gold + black = the win?

$125 a wheel - thats way too high. Mine were $65 a piece - High Performance Powder Coating near Hagerstown MD.
