Racecar prep 101

Im sure you will keep us updated, but I (personally) cant wait to see you racing. You and Evan at one event will be awesome, especially for the more new members. Anyway, a question that has been on my mind...how do you expect to do in H4. Also, what do you plan on to compete later in life? Content with H4, or what?

I built the car to win Smile

Who knows... I think world challenge or grand am cup would be pretty damn cool but I dont know where I'll end up down the line. If its just H4 and club racing, I'm ok with that though.

I'm 90% sure its wedged harmlessly in an oil drain hole Smile I'm not worried at all.

Tow hook/loop installed. I need to cut a hole the bumper cover for the loops to fit through.

U-bolt from McMaster, $13 and Climbing Loop, $3

Bumper support drilled

Bumper Foam trimmed - I think I am going to trim this some more.

The loop is more better, wont impale my shins as I walk around the car, or a Spec Miata bumper when I punt them off the track in the carousel.

how strong is your bumper supports in that direction? Not worried about ripping off the bumper? Mine's going on the frame not some bumper thats held in place by 2 bolts.
