I bought a little 4x6 utility trailer. Weighs all of 250 lbs. $450 new.
Go to DMV to register it, because for some reason trailers have titles in case you need to drive them to work if your car breaks down I guess.
Walk out $155 lighter. Part of which is $70 some worth of sales tax, because as we all know sales tax is like, 16%. :|
That is AWESOME.
AND I got to spend 1.5 hours there. Good times.
You can count on me never registering a trailer ever again. Somehow this permanent plate is going to find its way to other trailers I might buy for all eternity. It will also be passed on to my children after my untimely death.

I also noticed signs up about getting your scooters registered by some date, tell your friends. Yeah that's exactly what some poor dude wants to do who scrapped together $300 for a damn scooter he has to proudly drive to work at 23MPH in the rain. Make sure the government gets their cut of that!

It's the new minimum! They just doubled it as of 2 weeks ago. Lucky me. We can charge pennies on a pack of gum at 4 or 5% no problem, but a trailer? Well obviously there should be some large minimum because all trailers cost nearly $2000.
I think televisions and computers should have titles and yearly property taxes. Actually, anything in my house worth more than $200. Clearly they are luxury items.

I think a lot of states are cracking down on the scooter riders recently. I read somewhere that more and more DUI victims are losing their licenses and getting scooters and causing even more chaos. I think MD is going to require a license on all scooters soon because of this.

I always thought that was a pretty good system. Mass transit isn't available for a lot of people, people with DUIs shouldn't drive real cars, so let them drive a vehicle that's hard to kill anyone (but themselves) with.
I guess now they'll lose whatever hope they had of being able to maintain a job that doesn't happen to be within walking distance, live on wellfare and vote democrat. Or just go back to plan A, driving suspended. Great!

one of you IT guys explain to me why:
When I log out of my online banking account or trading account, I'm OUT.
When I log out of less serious accounts, they always mention you should close the browser too, because maybe you won't be logged out. WTF. We have a portal at work that's doing that, and acutally has some serious data on it. Their server shouldn't be asking MY browser if I'm in, what kind of "security" is that. :|

that's a time where you need to summon all your abdominal strength and bust ass as loudly as possible

any men's room, aside from at a stadium, is a place of solitude. the only allowable conversations are short ones and should be indirect conversation to other bathroom users about sports team performances, witty banter about how PF Changs is destroying their colon, or what type of manly activity they're doing after work (grilling, building a thing, car projects, banging). and the conversation never happens in close proximity at a urinal.

^ I'd expand on that to also include:

1.) Any interaction in the bathroom. Just because we're co-workers and we're washing our hands at the same time does not mean you should fucking ask me about that project I'm working on. Shut the fucking fuck up, the bathroom is not a social place or a conference room.

2.) General bathroom habits and hygiene of people at my company. This is a fortune 500 company. I'm probably one of the few people on my floor earning under 6 figures. Almost all of the men on my floor are older, white collar gentleman, our bathroom should not look like an inner city Baltimore middle school. Water everywhere, toilet paper all over the floor, those stupid fucking seat liners hanging out of their holder, failure to flush a fucking automatic toilet, piss and pubic hair all over the urinal, used paper towels thrown all over the sink, it's fucking disgusting.
