Most annoying part of dropping the trans IMO.. everything else is cake.
Buy a roll pin punch for $8 instead, or I have one or two

while on my back removing the transmission in the freezing cold... i asked him if he had a 8mm punch... he said no. i warmed myself up and drove to sears to buy one. 5/16 was close enough and worked. now i have at least 2 punches that will work on that damn pin.

We timed it with the DC auto show in the past, maybe we can time it with something else as well? It was just an idea to not make one person host it every time.

Yeah, I understand. Just being devil's advocate. I know I can't really take a whole weekend off and it's hard to get current students out past an hour. It's like pulling teeth every year.
So, ordered roll bar, looks like they do just-in-time manufacturing as they said 4-5 weeks until it gets here.... Didn't think it would take that long to make something they already have measurements on. I'm still down to help put the GSR trans in though.
Things to do:
1. Swap Transmission/Flywheel
2. Front Pads/Brake Flush
3. Remove Rear Wiper (drop'n LBS)
4. Install Coolant Gauge/Pod
5. Livery... paint rimz/hood/vinyl/seal trunk

Wait til you start buying furniture. We're heading into week six of waiting for our new couch. I get that there's gonna be some lead time since we chose our own fabrics and stuff but goddamn, how long does it take to nail together some 2x4s and stuff some cushions?

See how the other half lives.... in FWD misery Well as long as they have the suspension setup right it will be easy to throttle oversteer and can feel neutral. The best part is for me about 3/4ths of most turns you can be flat out. It feels weird but whatever.

they can add about 5-8hp with B18b cams out of a 94+ manual B18b... and they have the exact same markings. without a cam doctor and real knowledge no one would know.
