Noodles? Jar of sauce?

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth

I also cringed. Guess I am spoiled by my wife's homemade sauce every time we have pasta.

I'm sure you could adapt a sauce recipe for it. I've seen others that don't use jar sauce. But quick and easy is the only reason I eat spaghetti.
Now that I think of it, Spaghetti is my least favorite "Italian" dish. Never even order it when we are out at a good Italian place like Olive Garden.
Use a can of crushed tomatoes and a few spices. Same effort with better taste and no corn syrup.
The beauty of an IP is you can get the "cooked all day" flavor in 30 minutes.

Well I failed twice last night to make a decent basmati rice. Think I need more water. I tried a 1 to 1 with dry rice which is what 5he recipe called for and rice came out super sticky and a little hard. Then tried adapting time of first recipe to the IP recommendation of wet rice then 1 to 1. Pretty much the same thing but a little less hard. Still way too sticky for a long grain rice and definitely not better than regular stove top rice.

You need to rinse the rice, and add in a tiny bit more water than they recommend.
And also... jar of pasta sauce? Might as well cook some fuckin' hot dogs in there, too.

Ketchup, mustard, chili, onions. The perfect hotdog.

Nah, simple is better. Just put some mustard in an "S" shape on the dog and you're set.

Chilli dogs are also approved, but definitely no ketchup on those.

Chilli dogs are also approved, but definitely no ketchup on those. I still eat goldfish and chicken nuggets. So I'll continue to eat like a child and put ketchup on my dogs. LIKE A FUCKING AMERICAN

100% fine with just ketchup on a hotdog, but I will judge anyone who eats yellow mustard harshly.
It's disgusting, I almost shudder just thinking of it.

Just to rustle everyone's jimmies. I'll grill up some pineapple, onion, peppers and sometimes even mango until they got some nice grill marks. Then dice it all up and put it on top of hot dogs.

It's pretty common to put cream cheese on hot dogs in Seattle.
