Well you are going to be there so it's not an issue. Tell Mr. Elise that his detail can wait a day.

ehhh...please put me back on the list. If I can't come, consider my payment a donation, unless somebody else would like to pay for my spot if I can't come

Just letting you know to put my friend Bryce down for a spot after the deadline tomorrow. I've already paid Jeff at the last meeting in advance for the spot. Thanks Justin

not to late, we have to fill the remaining spots, we just set that deadline for current students and alumni so we weren't getting people the day before saying they couldn't go.

IF YOU HAVEN'T PAID DO SO ASAP, no pay no go.

white97dsm Wrote:Ok, so as you can see we are doing a 2 hour event this year, thus the increase in price. The plan is to have 2 run groups, 1 group of 20 participates in the first hour with the 2nd spectates, and then vice versa for the 2nd hour. Track time will still be 15 on, 15 off, then your final 15 on.
I actually don't understand the format at all. Sorry if I'm missing the obvious. Tongue Could you clear this up for me? Is it a single 2 hour race? Two one hour races? How many people on a team? And how much time on track should each participant expect to get?

sounds like to me:

1st hour: 20 people spectate while 20 people race. Then there will be 10 teams of 2 people each. Each driver will switch every 15 minutes until the hour is finished (two-15 minute sessions per person). repeat for 2nd hour with the next batch of 20 people.

I don't see why there should be two races. Just have one 2 hour race with 4 person teams. Having two races wastes a bit of time inbetween races. Besides I would like everyone to compete with each other, unless its intimidating for some of the newcomers to race against people who have done this plenty of times.

yea that works to, i actually like that idea better, be more competitive, just make sure none of the teams are loaded.
