They made it.. I'm gonna run them daily see if I can kill them, still grip pretty good for my whooping 140 HP.
I'm gonna enjoy them don't worry, I'm real anal about clean rims.. even tho my car has about a million door dings and the clear is GONE on the roof. Sad But my rims will be CLEAN!

Nah, wasn't me. My mom was in the ER for ~10 hours, then got her gall bladder removed. I was hoping to cruise down, mom would be in surgery by like, 11, and I'd be able to cruise over to the auto-x and do a funrun or something in the MS3, but nooooooooooooo. She didn't get into the OR until like, 5 or some shit.

I got stuck in Novice. Bummer. How do I get out of it? I'd rather be in SM.

Other than that I had a great time. I now have quite a hankering for some Rcompz.

You would have just squeaked out Justin too  Was that a mistake in registering, because you shouldn't be placed in that unless you specifically ask for it...

I registered online and gave my class as SM. I guess I saw the N next to my name on the website but didn't think anything of it. Then at the end of the day yesterday I saw my name in the N list instead of SM for scoring.

The event was great like I said. Probably one of the most fun times I've had with my car to date. Finally my car has a purpose other than driving in Northern Virginia traffic. I'll also have you note that both Justin and I beat a Vortech supercharged mustang on 285 R comps by two seconds. Booya.

isnt novice pax much better than sm? i think your first three events are registered as novice class.

as for rcomp tires, just stick with street tires until you feel that your progression is slowed by tires and not by your own driving

the N isnt next to your name unless you put it there. Pete go to my auto events, where we register and change your registration info, there should be a drop down menu that asks if your a novice or not. as for r comps im strongly considering it as well. mostly because my street tires took a hefty beating yesterday, and i don't wanna beat my street tires to shit all the time. If i dont do R comps i am atleast gonna do some azenis or something similar.

but i did figure out a good tire pressure yesterday for my rears, just enough to where the rear would swing out a lil more. My front tire pressure i need to figure out, cause i still had some descent sidewall roll. and i was running 41psi.

PAX is based on class alone. When you are in "Novice" class you compete against the other novices on PAX rather than the other cars in your class on raw time.

I'll try not to jump the gun on the R comps, I think I will buy a set of patrick swayzies instead. I'm not upset I'm in Novice, I just would rather be placed with my class rather than novice.
