Actually, Maggie does get me beer. Well, she "helps" - by which I mean that when I grab a beer out of the fridge, Maggie has to lick the bottom before I open it. She gets a great kick out of it :lol:

So, Bruce was formally diagnosed today with Canine Hip Dysplasia. We've suspected it for a long time, but now its official.

We've started him on Glucosamine and a weight reduction diet, but the likely course of action will be hip replacement surgery in a few months. Wish him luck!

sorry to hear that...our yellow lab had that since she was 2. it hampered her ability to run and swim after the surgery because she didn't heal well. seems to be very common in labs.
