yeah its expensive but the side head restraints must be very helpful. If this were in a streetable car, would the head restraints cause horrible blind spots or would they be dangerous to the head without a helmet on? Im in the process of buying one now, thats what I think of it!
The head bolsters dont block much of your vision, until you try to look over your shoulder (you cant)
They are very slim seats, much slimmer than an EVO. I barely wedge into one and Im going to have to stay in shape to fit.
The main reason Im getting it is that in a caged miata, the cage bars are right next to my head, so id rather my head have some protection
I'm not sure but I might like a fixed seat. It would promote good posture and hold you better...for less money. Evan has already said he likes it, anyone else like fixed in a daily? Anyone not? I'm looking at the Forza II seat...
I really want recliners but the 5-point isn't gonna work without moding and I could live with a fixed I think.
If I was gonna go recliner it would be the A4 WIDE

or the CR1
Anything I need to know here? I have taken the talk up with mom on getting me the stuff for the holidays or helping me buy it. Also, anyone ever thought to buy a fixed for the driver and recliner for the passenger?

don't listen to RJ and Evan, they're spoiled. I like my Forzas!! For daily driving and track use. I have to admit though, a 4 hour trip gets a little uncomfortable, maybe they wouldn't be good for endurance racing. For less than 2 hours, they're great. And they're half the price of anything else they'll try to talk you into.
(oh, ignore the potential of the seat frame crushing in a severe accident and bleeding you dry, that's not gonna happen)
lol i was going to get two forza 2s for my car... i picked up my auto power bar used for $250.

You posted while I was writing back to RJ just now. I have a problem in Nicks car and they are regular A4s...I will have to see. The seat could problalby fit in my ass if I tried hard enough...I like a big comfy seat. But the problem is sylvia...it will be her car too...and she is MUCH smaller them me. Hell...size 0...I ask her if she even exists.

agreed. I'm a 35/36, and the regular ones are a bit too big for me. They'd be even better if I started eating more. :bootyshake:
and yeah, I'm not driving up there for anything less than 6 beers.
How about 6 P&C's?

My EVO 2 is the most comfortable seat I have ever sat in. It makes long trips wonderful. In the Mazda my back starts to hurt after 3hrs or so. With the EVO2 I could drive all day and night. Even with the exhaust (pre dumps) and no interior my wife still use to fall asleep in them driving back from VIR they were so comfortable. Adjustable seats my 'look' comfy, but in reality, they suck.
If you are around 200lbs and are still going to drive the car daily, go EVO2, around 150, go EVO1. But only go fixed back if you have a roll bar.
white_2kgt Wrote:But only go fixed back if you have a roll bar.
I plan too The EVO is still a pricey seat isn't it? How much worse is the forza? I might get the Forza II in black..then if we decide not to get the bar for the daytona, and only the omni, then I can move them and get recliners for the tona.
