Example: Student has been braking at the 4 marker all weekend and all of a sudden they decide to brake 50 feet later.

Oh, I thought you meant that RJ and I started biting off big chunks of speed which is why we bent metal (or in RJs case....plastic :lol Which makes no sense considering I was an instructor at the time, and RJ an advanced driver.

But yes, as an instructor, I see that all the time, especially with noobs with fast cars and big egos. (ie - EVO drivers )
