Quote:I'm interested in getting a baseline for my car, if there is going to be a cut on the tuning price i wouldn't mind it being sooner than later. Is ultimate the only place you talked to? I know AR Fab and Inline have done dyno days like this before, + AR Fab has an AWD dynojet too.
Quote:B and T motorsports who i talked to this morning offers a group rate of 8 hours for $800 .... unlimted hook ups... we figure out how we want to divide the time... its a dynopack 3000 dyno like JE uses.
I picked a shop based on locale and experience. I'm not going to attempt to set up a dynoday at any other place. If people don't want to do it at Ultimate, I'll let someone else find out the info and present it for consensus.
Quote:$100/hr - so... roughly $75 per person for 3 pulls?
Quote:ok if thats how you do the math... but i did 8 pulls in 1 hour.... if that helps.
Quote:I wouldn't want 3 pulls. Most i'd want would be 2, since I just want to see what I've been putting down all this time.
No one is going to charge by the pull. The information as far as # of cars, time per car and cost per car from Brian at Ultimate who I talked to today is:
13 cars. 40 minutes a car. 65 bucks a person, or 75 if they want air/fuel.
Our choices with dates are: Saturday the 13th of November, or Saturday the 19th of November.
We'd start at 10AM, I'll let you do the math to find out when we would finish.
So if this is fine with people, hit it back with which of those two dates is fine. Once we have that then money gets handed to Dave to secure the spot. If we can't get at least 12 people in on this...money in hand, then it won't be done. And of course if people want to go elsewhere, spend other amounts, or have a different amount of time...I'll let them organize it.
