Because we'd have this big ugly chat window in the side for spammers and morons to "ZOMG HAI GUYZ" in. I mean, the one on VAGT is nothing but 24/7 shit. Furthermore, it's highly likely that we'd lose a lot of important information.

None of my forums use this box of shout that you speak of. Not sure how I feel about such a thing. If it means quicker communication and a possible increase for trolling than in.
